About the Author
Rachel Goble Hara is an explorer at heart and a longtime nonprofit leader dedicated to community empowerment and education. For nearly 15 years, she served in anti-trafficking prevention—working closely with vulnerable youth and families and helping guide a nonprofit committed to long-term impact. Today, her family stewards Jaguar Creek, a nonprofit eco-lodge in Belize devoted to rainforest conservation, sustainability, and community partnership.
As a mother to Lily, Rachel is passionate about creating experiences that help children grow curious, compassionate, and connected to the world around them. The Little Jaguar is inspired by her family’s life in Belize—where adventure, nature, and a deep love for the rainforest shape their everyday world.
